So, I had been him-hawing around about which stone to set in my new ring (they''re both "nice", I overpaid for them long long ago, but not want I wanted) and I finally broke down and sold them to buy my dream stone (what I really wanted was an AGS triple ideal cut in a more warm color - my other two were D''s). I don''t have credit cards and so EARLY this morning I put the stone that I want from good old gold on hold via the bank wire option. I''m wiring my money out first thing tomorrow, but they''re closed tomorrow

. The internet option said that they way I chose to pay for the stone will only hold it for 24 hours. Does anybody know of a way (besided going in every 24 hrs till tuesday) to hold the stone for longer until they open? Will it even let me "buy" the stone three times if this is what I need to do (I''m mostly looking for reassurance that my stone will be there come tuesday!)? thanks a bunch!

It will be held until they open. No worries

Yay

. I was so excited to finally find what I was looking for ... and yes I wanted that low of a color

... that I failed to notice that it said "modfied hearts and arrows". What does that mean? Looks normal to me

It does not have a traditional Hearts pattern, a deep cleft in the hearts.

Yep. You''re safe.

For the period we''re closed we continue to hold the diamond until we have followed up with the client so no worries.

Modified H&A: We took traditional H&A cutting and did a little tweaking on the design since we found many people (including myself) who were extremely pleased with the face up appearance of a round brilliant cut with longer lower half facets. Equally as beautiful and just as precisely cut as a traditional H&A but with a slightly different personality. I have some clips that demonstrate the differences/nuances. That particular diamond is awesome eye candy.

Hi Jon
Is the modified H&A longer lower half facets ~ 80% to 85%?
Thanks

Went looking for those clips but couldn''t find them. Do you have a link to them? Thanks!

BEAUTIFUL stone! I can''t deside if I''m more in love with the diamond or the "toy" you sent with it

. When I saw the little scope I pulled out all my diamonds and started playing with it - my husband commented that I''m like a little kid where the box is more interesting then the gift! Anyway, like I said, very beautiful diamond and I can''t wait to buy a new digital camera so that I can show it off. Thanks!
