Help with GOG delivery!

The ER I bought from GOG is arriving tomorrow! In the event that my GF is present when it''s delivered, how easily can I pass it off as a part for my bike or my car? I need to think of some plausible cover story in the event that she''s there when it arrives. Is it a big package? Does it have GOG all over it? Is it flashy looking? Is the delivery guy going to yell what he''s delivering like the peanuts and beer guy at a ball game? That last one is an exaggeration, but I''m hoping somebody else who has been in my shoes can loan me some advice. TIA!

Congratulations. My ring from GoG just arrived yesterday, so I can tell you what I got. It came in a UPS box, that was maybe 2 feet by 1ft by 4 inches, with a slightly smaller box inside that, and then a padded shipping pack inside that. So a little big to hide. I took mine out of the two boxes and discarded them right away, to make it a bit easier to hide. There was no mention of GoG on the box that I noticed, not even on the return address for the shipping label - just came in a regular UPS express box.

Inside the padded evelope there were many pages of documentation, certs, and reciepts for the diamond. Also included was a loupe and a Hearts and Arrows viewer. The ring itself came in a pretty small box, maybe 3 cubic inches, with a clamshell-type jewelry box inside that. The UPS guy dropped it off at the front desk of my building, but I assume that they deliver it just like any other package - although I think you made need someone to sign for it (not sure). Thanks man! That''s exactly what I was hoping for. I should be able to just say its something else, and she won''t suspect a thing. I live in an apartment building too, so it''s good to know that they''ll drop it off at the office if I''m not there. Did GOG send you a tracking number?

No problem. They sent me a tracking number either the same day or the day after they shipped it. But shipping only took 1 day anyway, so by the time I checked the package location it was within a few hours of being delivered.

There is nothing on their boxes that would reveal what''s inside. It literally could be a car part, or a book. Something relatively lightweight, though. But, as aaron pointed out, there is tons of paperwork, so go hide in your closet to open it!
