Help with Diamond up to $9k?

Hi guys, first off what a great forum!

I'm looking for an engagement ring. Budget is $10k. 9k for the Diamond and 1k for the all gold solitaire. My partner is firm about her jewellery being gold!


For safety up til now I've been generally looking at AGS0000 stones from Victor Canera, Whiteflash and Brian Gavin.

G, VS1, ideal, 0.92ct or more.

Is anything jumping out as a particularly good buy from my choices?
