Help with diamond studs for MIL

My MIL is turning 60 later this summer. She is a wonderful MIL and raised my DH into an amazing husband all by herself. She has never had a pair of diamond studs and I think it''s about time she did! I''d like to spend about $750-$1000 for this gift, and would like to maximize size, so I am open to lower colors and clarity, so long as they sparkle and are eye clean. Any suggestions for vendors or the best way to maximize my budget? I am thinking a basic 4 prong wg setting, I''d rather use the money on the stones themselves.
