I have a H colour vs1 platinum solitaire ring and am shopping for a channel set eternity band. Most if the bands have G colour diamonds but I am worried these will make my main diamond look tinted?

Do you think this would be ok or would the colour differene be visible? Also I am thinking if princess cut stones for te eternity band, my main stone is a RB. Again would this have any impact.

Hope you can help, I rather ask here than in the jewellers

I have a an 1.81 H solitaire, and I wear it with a .70 ct band with F-G stones. All stones are ideal cut. and I really do not notice the color difference unless I'm really staring at the rings from the side, or against a white background. Face up there is a really slight difference that only I can see. Most people don't see what I'm seeing...I think you should be fine!

You won't notice, it's such a small difference in color. My stone is E and my stones are FG.

The size of the stones used in the narrow channel or prong set eternity bands are usually small enough that the G or H colour will show as bright white. I wouldn't worry.

You should be fine with G-H range smaller stones. I doubt you will see any difference as long as they are graded correctly.

I agree with eveyone else. I actually have a J center with F/G melee and only I can tell the difference, of course these are only .02's. ;)) But you are only talking one color grade difference, G/H are difficult to distinguish unset, so once they are set in the ring I think you will have a very difficult time seeing any color difference.

I have an H and in all the bands I've gone throuhg in the last two years, the highest color I have owned was D-F and I couldn't see a difference side by side.

I swear it will NOT be an issue!

Thank you so much for all your help. You have really put my mind at rest
