I am interested in having some DBTY earrings made and I was hoping for some advise. I know I want three diamonds on each earring, and the length to be about one and half inches long. The question is, do you think a graduated design would be nice? Or I saw a reverse graduated design, where the first and third diamond are bigger and the middle diamond is smaller. Or should I just have all six diamonds be the same size?

What do you guys think, and does anyone have their own DBTY earrings to share pics?

Here is a pic of the reverse graduated pair:

Well, I don't have any of my own (DRATS and DOUBLE DRATS anyway!!!

) but I love the style! And I strongly prefer the graduated design, with the smallest on the top and getting larger as they go down. I dunno why, just "pleases" me more asthetically, I guess!

And BTW, yummo and YOWZERS! What a fun project!

Totally can see you rocking the graduated design. Love it. It flows, it makes sense. It''s the way to go!!!!

I like the graduated look with the largest stone at the bottem.

Have you though about having the bottem two daimonds and the chain be detachable from the top stud? Like a earring jacket but you just thread the stud trough the top loop of the chain which the two other diamonds are on. That way you have studs and dangly earrings in one! Or, if you allready have studs you like you could save a bit of money by just getting the dangly bits with the 2 diamonds made (OR spend the extra money on bigger/better dangly diamonds).

I think this is a great idea...would maximize your budget (maybe save some for another project
