Help with cushion - facet diagrams

Hi
i am pretty new to cushion and their facets designs...I am looking for antique cushions. I contacted whiteflash among there jewelers...They sent me three diamonds for consideration. I don't understand the diagram in the report. I have never seen this. I know AVC's have 8 mains and they all go till the edge.....but other than that i really dont know anything.. .

-Can somebody please explain which facets diagrams are good and which ones to avoid?
- In general how to "read" these facet diagrams?

I have GIA reports for only two of the diamonds from whiteflash.

I am so confused......

there are no 'good' and 'bad' facet diagrams but that one does not look like an antique/vintage cushion facet plot.

The vendors who sell antique style cushions are Good Old Gold and Engagement Rings Direct. leon Mege sells some as well, but you probably have to use him for the setting. I think Victor Canera is also going to be offering some, so you could check with him.

You cannot choose a cushion by looking at a grading report. It is just not possible. You HAVE to see diamond photos, so you must use a vendor that has stones in house.
