help with close-up shots of 1ct

I didn't expect to see so many specks! What's going on??

Taken with 80mm equivalent lens, 1:1 crop at about 30cm

edit: i should mention, there were taken mostly with two light sources, directly to the left and right of the diamond

after some cleaning. i really can't tell if they're pinpoint inclusions or dust!

looks like inclusions

keep cleaning. sometimes it takes a bit more. I think I see a couple of inclusions, but all that stuff is not inclusions. It looks like oil from fingers.
How are you cleaning? try Dawn and hot water, and brush the stone.
Do you have a map of the inclusions?

My pics always turn out like that no matter how clean I think the stone is. They're not inclusions, though.

thanks for the replies!

so under live view, I used a needle and I was able to move most of the specks around the surface lol! but some are indeed inclusions, but it's so hard to tell which are and which are dust/oils.

this diamond is only birk's certified so no map or idealscope
