Help with choosing an oval for my ring

Not bad but the outline is a little misshapen.

I love this one, it's beautiful. Once JA provides the ASET images I'm sure Neil and Gypsy will provide additional great feedback.

I requested the ASET images from JA for those 3 stones, the I, G and H. I randomly googled the Gia number and found an ASET for the H. Is anyone able to tell me what this looks like? I read that white in an ASET is leakage and it seems to have a lot of white.

I am kind of bummed because I was hoping this stone would be a good one, but like I said I'm still awaiting the actual info I requested from JA.

JulieN, I do like the idea of a colorless stone better especially since I know ovals tend to show more color. Is it normal for oval ASET images to have so much white on them? There is so much more info on rounds but not as much on ovals.

Those are computer generated ASETs and not as good as the ones of the actual stone with a photo set up.

That said, most ovals are pretty leaky. It's rare to find one that's not.

The ASET's are back. What do you guys think? This is what the gemologist's had to say. Thanks in advance for any advice. Everyone has been so helpful. I need to make a decision in 24 hours.

You'll be happy to know that diamond 381208 ($10,370) has great light performance, which balances beautifully throughout the diamond. Its bowtie is minimal, and when compared to your other diamonds, this one is the brightest and most fiery. The gemologist also found it to have the most attractive shape and faceting. As expected, it's eye clean and has a true "H" color.

Diamond 380615 ($8,060) is an excellent option as well and offers a minimal bowtie and similar light performance to diamond 381208. It's also eye clean and have a very attractive shape and faceting pattern. It's comparable to your top recommendation and has a true "I" color.

Diamond 293522 ($11,180) is more elongated than your other diamonds and its bowtie is just slightly larger. It has a true "G" color and is very bright in its own right, but a sharp eye may find it to be just slightly cloudy. It's so faint that most people will never notice it, but it's the main reason they ranked it as the third best option.

Diamonds 381208 and 380615 are both excellent diamonds and I'm confident you'll be satisfied with either of these options. If you want to go with the gemologist's personal favorite, then you'll want to move forward with diamond 381208. However, if you are want to be conservative with your budget, diamond 380615 is worth considering since it's so similar and has the best price in your lineup.

They didn't load on the right order but the last one was for the H and the other one that you liked gypsy was the I. The one that looks cloudy was the G. I think I will order the H to see it in person.

Not the greatest photos because they were snapped real quick with my iPhone, but you can get an idea. Thank you soooo much Gypsy and Niel for all your help picking a stone! It's beautiful and I love it.
