Hi!

I posted on here a couple of weeks ago, looking at the possibility of getting a rose gold setting for a J-color diamond.

Well, long story short (and it''s definitely hard for me to be concise!), my boyfriend and I have gone in a new direction: Brian Gavin (this is the direction I initially intended for us to follow, but again, long story -- I had to explore every option under the sun).

This is the stone we''re looking at. It''s a 1.01 I SI1 -- like all of BG''s stones, it looks drool-icious -- I was just a little concerned about the feather in the center of the table and the cloud in the same spot. We don''t have a hearts image (working on getting it), but this collage thing has the ASET, IS, beauty shot, and a blowup diagram from the AGS report that shows the inclusion plot.

Is this a stone we should go for, or would it be worth it to drop 0.1 or so in carat for a higher clarity?

Thank you so much! :)

I would ask Brian if it is eye-clean.

From what I understand, Brian pretty much only stocks eye clean stones. For me personally, I would go with the higher clarity. It''s a mind clean thing. I would just rather not have
and SI1 stone. I have seen many that are beautiful and so totally eye clean, but I would know. if its a huge price difference go with the SI1 if Brian says it''s great. You can totally
trust him. If it is just a mind thing then go with the VS.

Just double check with Brian or Lesley concerning the feather, cloud and if the diamond is eyeclean to your standards - they will be pleased to reassure you.
