Hi Everyone, after much back and forth, I think I'm leaning towards going with an August Vintage Cushion from good old gold. I'm looking for something in the 1 ct, vs2+, G+ range. This will be going into something that resembles a novo type setting. Are the following any good or should I wait for something better?

This will be my first diamond purchase so any help or comments will be very much appreciated! Thanks.

For me I would want to get one of the ideal cut stones since they are about the same price anyway. The first two are both ideal for everything. Take a look at the AGS report on the website you will see where it says ideal and a 0 next to it. I personally like the second one since I am partial to a more square shaped cushion. I have a square shaped AVC myself, they are a beautiful cut.

I prefer the first one and I love AVC go for it.

Thanks Rena7 and heididdl, these comments are very helpful and make a world of a difference, especially since I have no idea of what's good or bad :)

Rena7, thanks for pointing out that the first two are better options. That helps a lot.

Heididdl, is there a reason you like the 1st more?

Any other comments would be greatly appreciated:)

Have you asked GOG for a video?

They may be able to make a video of all four stones and then you could compare side-by-side in a very real way.
