I''m hoping someone can help me sort out this diamond for me. The Table is 64%. It was cut years ago and just certified by GIA. I''m a novice and this one confounds me. It doesn''t do well on the Holloway Cut Advisor and an AGA Grading program came up with a final grade of 2A. Thanks for all your help.

I would personally pass. Besides the table being a landing pad (way too big), it's at steep/deep (light leakage) You can do much better.

ETA Actually, it's a fisheye. Not good!

Yap, give this stone a miss.

Yeah. No way. Pass.

Ditto the above

Yes, live in Edina. Now, I keep coming back to this little Ebay ring. The GIA certification is old and not as much detail as I would like. Originally, my heart was set on a 1.5 ct. diamond but, this is sweet, too. What do you think? There are great jewelers here, but it seems they balance their beautiful work with lower quality stones.

What do you think of this ring?

I personally would pass on the Ebay ring. The listing says all sales are final, so if you ended up not liking the ring you would not be able to return it. $9950 + shipping and insurance is too much for me to gamble.
