Help with a BGD Blue!

BF and I are 98% on this diamond:

We were wondering if you PS'ers can tell us anything about the cut? I asked for a picture of the hearts and was told they don't provide them. Do you know if they exist in these cuts or is it even worth it to worry about? We'd have to sacrifice on size to get a true H&A.

It's a beautiful diamond, and if you're 98% set on it, put it on hold ASAP! The BGD blues in that size are pretty popular and lurkers buy them out from under posters like you all the time.

All of BG's stones are cut to a very high standard. He just chooses not to put fluorescent stones in his signature line, and he only provides hearts images of the signature stones. This stone is ideal cut, so no worries.

I wouldn't give that another second of thought. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a BG Blue! My diamond happens to be a G VS1 with strong blue and I love it!

I would call. They'll get basic information and according to their website, will hold it for 24 hours with no deposit needed.

I hope you are the one that reserved it since it is reserved now. I had my eye on the .866 yesterday and it sold before I called. I bought one of them this morning though.

I am, very thankfully! We'd been bobbing between a Quaddex and Blue for a little while now.

and we'd like to have some sort of milgraining done on it to give it the 'antique' feel.

Alright ya'll! I'm finally back with (crappy) pictures. We ended up with a custom setting from a local jeweler. The one picture shows the sapphire but on the other side is a garnet which are our birthstones. I don't have a pic of it on this computer though. Here she is!

Love those BG Blues...that setting is so beautiful...great idea for the birth stones on each side...just awesome choices you made...congrats!
