Help...What are your thoughts on these two diamonds

I found two stones that I like, but wanted to get thoughts on the quality of the stones. Any help would be appreciated....I am going to check these out again a little later today. Thanks!

I will bring up the reports, the first is a cushion but unfortunately the report alone doesn't tell us anything, we need images of the diamond. Same with the second one, have you seen these diamonds in person or are they with an online vendor? If online then if you could request photos and an ASET image for each, that would be most helpful.

They are both cushions. I am not sure why the second one is not showing up. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures (will see if I can get some). They are from an online dealer that happens to be based out of my city and I went and looked at the stones yesterday. I am going again to get a look at those two and a couple of others today.

It was user error ( me) with the second report, I did manage to access it. Pics would help, also compare as many cushions as you can and also see if you can view the ones you like best in more natural lighting to see if they still appeal to you away from the store lights.

Thanks for the advice. I actually looked at those two, as well as some others that I did not like as much. However, with those two, I liked one a bit more in the store. They also had a patio, so we took the stones out into the sun and I liked the other one better. I am going to look at a couple more today as well.

That sounds great, you are definitely on the right track. Cushions are tricky and need to be seen to be judged and they can vary tremendously in appearance and performance, so compare compare compare and see which one '' speaks'' to you the most. If you don''t fall in love don''t be afraid to keep looking, sometimes it can take a while before you find '' the one.''

Maybe it is the photos, but I am not completely wild about either one based only on those pictures. Sorry! The facet pattern just doesn''t appeal to me. I like cushions that looks like this better:

These are both signature cushions from Good Old Gold, they are new proprietary cuts from the company and they are killer! The second stone has a video so you can see how they perform. I just post these as a good comparison of different types of cushions. Of course, with cushions, your own eyes tell the story! Just be sure that when you use your eyes to pick you have a good broad range of high quality cushions to compare!
