Hi Everyone,
Well, today is my 10th Wedding Anniversary and my DH has agreed to get me a beautiful ring! Mark Morrell will be doing my setting (DREAM!) and I now need to search for the perfect stone!
I''ve decided against getting another RB as my original engagement ring consists of one and I''d like a change and to diversify my collection a bit.
I''m thinking of either a Cushion Cut, Asscher, or the H & A square (with the rounded corners)
I''ve contacted Jon of GOG and Mark (the cushion god) but I''m interested to hear people''s opinions and advice in helping me find a really superior stone.
Here are some details of what I''m looking for:
Carat weight: 0.95- 1.40 ct
Color: D- G
Clarity: IF - VS1 (I''d prefer not to go SI1)
Budget: Between $5000-7000
After reading and sifting through the threads here, I realize it''s challenging to find a really well-cut cushion or Asscher.....this is why I loved the H & A square cut.
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!!! When it comes to the angles etc.....I''m still a tad lost, but I know that I want something brilliant and sparkly and would prefer to sacrifice carat weight to preserve the color and brilliance.
