Help w/14K Fixed Bezel, custom Body Rings using my diamonds?

Hi,

In case this sounds confusing, I'll post pics too.

I'd like to have custom body jewelry made using two of my existing RB diamonds(one aprx .25ct and another 1ct).

Two rings:

#1 with the .25ct diamond, 18gauge in 14k yellow gold, 5/16 diameter, diamond bezel set w/ one side fixed. not a true captive swiveling style. it'd be cool but too risky, i think.

#2 ring using the 1.00ct diamond, 16gauge in 14k yellow gold, 5/16 diameter, diamond bezel set/one side fixed also.

Have you spoken to a local goldsmith? Neither of these projects will be especially difficult for someone to make. Where are you?

I''m in the S.F. Bay Area. I''m not sure where to go for these. I had a bit of trouble with my last ring at a local shop, so I''m not sure if they''re up to it.

Most jeweler stores that have a goldsmith in-house are usually pretty proud of this and try to make it easy to tell. The easiest to get specialty type work like this is usually to visit the single store or small chain type outfits where you can speak with the person who will be doing the actual work. Look for stores that advertise their skills at repair or custom design and then pay them a visit. Working one-on-one with a designer can be pretty fun. You may find yourself designing all manner of interesting things.
