Ok, I recently got engaged (yay!) the only picture of my e-ring I could find is on diana.com . I''m trying to choose a wedding ring - I don''t really want them to match , but I don''t want the e-ring and wedding ring to look gaudy together either. So, I found two wedding rings I really like, but I can''t decide which I want more. I really like vines and leaves motifs that are very earthy and delicate of one ring but I also like this one ring I found that''s actually made in Scotland (where my fiance''s heritage is from) that has a little Celtic flare to it I also love. And I love the texture of the Celtic wedding ring as well.

A few questions I have are:

1. With the Celtic gold ring, would using yellow gold look really strange with my white gold e-ring? I kind of like it. They can make the Celtic ring in white gold as well, but I kind of like the yellow gold look

2. I''ve heard a lot about white gold having to be re-rhodium plated through the years-would it be better to get a gold wedding ring, or does it not matter since my e-ring is white gold anyway?

3. Also, I think there may be a problem with my e-ring jutting out a little bit from the center diamond that may cause a gap between a wedding ring. What can I do to help this?

If anyone has suggestions or other websites with similar rings, I''d love to see them.

I really wish I could make a ring that has designs of both, but I think a custom ring would be out of my budget

I think with an e-ring with a strong design of it''s own, you willl need to try on wedding bands to get one that will go well if you don''t want the matching band. I think of those two, the garden one might be better. And I''d definitely get white gold if your e-ring is white gold. But these bands will be pretty wide with your e-ring. Do you have really long fingers? I might try to find one a little narrower if it was me. I wouldn''t order either of these unless they have an unconditional return policy so you can try them on with the e-ring. The gap is just a fact of life if you have an e-ring with a head that sticks out near the base. I wouldn''t worry about it.
