i want to spend around $4,000 - 4,250ish on the loose diamond. can you all help suggest some?

im lookin for a 1.00 - 1.10ct Ideal cut, F/G color, GIA or AGS certified SI1/SI2 (eye clean) diamond.

thanks!

a well cut 1 ct G SI1 would probably cost closer to $5200?

DF is right - what you''re looking for will run you more like 5-6K. Just do a "pricescope your diamond" to get an idea.

to be honest, not usre if you will reach 1ct mark in that price range . May have to consider dropping size a lil, upping budget or changing to H/I/J colours?
sorry!

I always tell people there are three factors in a diamond: size, quality, and price. They can choose any two, and the third is then pre-determined. I also tell them that the best way to be assured of the quality is with a GIA diamond grading report. There are other labs that do a good job. There are also labs that are nothing but a hoax.

You can get a very nice 1.00 G SI2 for $4000. A similar 1.10 F SI1 will be about $2000 more. Also, there is a huge difference in clarity between a high SI1 (on the verge of VS2) and a low SI2 (on the verge of I1)

James Allen lists several meeting your criteria on the search by cut database here, including this one.

GIA is a fine lab, however many PS people would agree that AGS is perhaps even better.
