HELP! Size for a pear cut men's ring

Hey everyone,

I am interested in having a ring made - I am drawn to the pear cut diamond and am hoping to purchase one and have a ring made to be gypsy set. I found an image for exactly what I'd like but was wondering how many carats you thought this diamond was. I wouldn't want to go much bigger than this but am gaging trouble having carat size. It's very tough to guess without knowing at least the finger size – that would make a perspective a little bit more understandable. It is a beautiful style.
As a wild guess, I would say around a carat

I'd agree, about a carat which is usually in the 8-9x6 mm range depending on the cut.
