I'd pass. You get what you pay for. It's a little shallow, and in that no man's land between normal "ideal" cuts and 60/60 stones. Plus, you saw it in person and it's not eye clean.

If your own eyes didn't love it, numbers wouldn't change that! :wavey:

THANKS FOR THE QUICK REPLY...WELL IT IS EYE CLEAN...just a little surface graining under the loupe....

here is my other option for a stone ..what u think about this one. PRICE IS $15,200

My first impression of that second one is "steep/deep," referring to its crown and pavilion angles.

You have a nice budget. If I were in your place, I'd consider adjusting my "4 C's" dials to improve cut at the expense of a little size. :read:

thanks...so what do u ideally recommend for a 16k budget....i need a 1.7 - 2.1 G, H VS2, SI1

can u give some good examples please ?

sometimes i see good stones but the measurements suck for the weight of the stone....

For the money, I'd rather have either of the other two I linked. Better cut and vendors with great upgrade policies.

You can't do better than the WF and GOG stones listed above! Real beauties!

That one is closer to a 60/60 stone than the others suggested. More importantly, it doesn't have any images available. No Ideal-Scope, ASET, or even a magnified image. You're buying blind. Risk and reward; you might pay a little less, but you're likely getting a little less too.
