Help setting my sapphire

Hi everyone,
I now have pictures of the sapphire I was thinking of putting into my halo setting. Does the stone seem to fit the setting this time or does it look too small?

If you love the look, you should go for it!

Personally I find the halo a tad big for the size of the sapphire. Also, the sapphire will sit quite high in this setting, which can cause your stone to get damaged easily. But my personal opinion should not influence you.

I agree - the setting does overwhelm the stone a bit.

I too thought the setting somewhat overwhelms the stone, with how hight it sits in the setting and the size of the melees.

I think its a matter of personal taste. I like the setting but the setting and the stone together? it would be too much for me. I would go with a daintier setting to really let the stone shine (its beautiful btw!!)
