help selecting engagement ring for a newbie

I've decided I want to use a vatche u113 setting. Looking for a round diamond around 1.2 carats. Budget for everything is up to 10k. Any suggestions on how to start looking?

I would look at Vatche dealers, so that you can get the stone set by the seller, which will make the whole process as easy as possible.

It looks like a winner.

I would just get on the phone with Whiteflash and verify that it is eye-clean to your standards (they may have a different definition of 'eye-clean' compared to your definition).

If it is, they can have the stone set in the U113 and send you the completed ring. That way, if you have any issues in the future, you only have one vendor to deal with.
