The stone will go into a white gold tension setting, solitaire.

Any of these stones looks better/worse than the others?

Hi Fey,

These are all very fine diamonds indeed, great choices, well done! I would just ask, I take it your preference is for VVS clarity? If so that's absolutely fine of course, just letting you know you could go for lower clarity such as VS without visual sacrifice if the cut is good, but far be it from me to dissuade you if VVS is your preference!

All 4 diamonds have great potential but my preference is for the G VVS from James Allen out of these. The reasons for this are because the proportions are excellent as are the images provided and I like the slightly smaller table size. This diamond boasts the coveted AGS0 cut grade, G colour is a nice mid range and will still look very white in the setting you propose. VVS clarity, there will be no ' eye cleanliness' issues there.

I'd go for either of the JA stones.

Thank you, Lorelei. I'm one of the mind-clean people :-) and yes, VS would probably be adequate but VVS appeals more to me.

Andelain, it isn't because the B2C idealscope images have different saturation and so appear less red? It seems to me that JA idealscopes were just post-processed differently from JA ones..

No, it's because of my past experience with B2C.

Then definitely consider the VVS if that's what you like - and you are welcome!

As above, I think either of the JA stones would be great :)

As mentioned, the table is quite large on the E and smaller on the G - I think a smaller table gives more fire so is something to consider? :?)

Personally I'm sensitive to colour so the E would be calling me, but G does still look great!

Thank you all for your help.

I pulled the trigger on the 0.95 G VVS1 AGS 000 from JA. Once I get it there will be pictures

Nice, congratulations! :)

All the size of a 1 carat with none of the added price tag :)

We'll look forward to pics!
