No, just depth and table. Spread is the measurement in MM which will tell you how large the diamond faces up. Also the matter of depth in fancy shapes is more complex than rounds, as fancies can hold weight in other ways, hence depth does not always relate to face up size.Date: 6/24/2009 4:55:07 PM

Hi -
I found a pear shape whose length to width (and other characteristics) I really like; however, its depth is 63.8% and table is 57%. Are these two numbers, taken together, = to a diamond's spread? And if so (or not,) does the 63.8 depth mean its not so great?

I''m attaching a pic of the pear and the certificate. (I have another certificate (from another stone) which has more details...this one seems ''short'' to me. The store told me the girdle is medium to very thick and the culet was none.
