Help please with new setting for 3.16 carat round

Hi All!! Does anyone have any pictures of interesting split shank settings? With or without halo. Also, Kirsti Darling and Kaleigh....who did your settings??
They are both fabulous...the proportion is perfect!! I want the setting to stick up a bit...not low lying.

Fire goddess....you posted a twisty ring for an east/west marquis a while back...who was that designer?

Hi Rockfever!!! What a beautiful sounding stone; Leon Mege did their settings. I love Kaleigh's and KD's rings, aren't they beautiful?!?!?!

Thanks so much for your help, guys!! I just did a new setting last year and loved it...even though it was a bit clunkier than I had wanted. My ring is posted in show me the ring.

The marquis was a braided type with halo. The one from MAchik is gorgeous, but not the one I was thinking of. I want the center stone to show off but the thing that is most bothersome about my ring is that I don''t feel it is symmetrical. Weird, huh?

This is why I am thinking of split shank or pear side stones ala KD and Kaleigh............

Any pix of cushion halo with round center split shank?? I love the Jack Kelege type look. Aw, heck...I just don''t know what to do.......it''s frustrating when you don''t Completely love your ring...............

Thanks so much, Burk!! I love the first one you posted! I really like the Richard Landi Micro pave split shank shown when you first click his website under micro pave. The other one I really love is from Stardust Jewelry style n162sp. I haven''t been able to have luck cutting and pasting pix to show you. Love the height of both of these, but the prongs are not quite right. Any thoughts on a custom piece?

No problem. I like the detail but, IMHO I''m not a huge fan of the prongs. Have you seen this one from James Allen? (I currently have a split shank so I researched them forever before I made my decision

I agree with you on the prongs..........I really like the spread and height of the ring and the pave. The one from Stardust I like, also, but it has the same prong problem. I don''t know what a cushion halo would look like with it, but..............
