Welcome Jerry!

Both beautiful diamonds, you can''t go wrong whichever you pick! Some might be able to notice a slight difference with direct comparison between D and G unmounted, however there are those that won''t and once both are mounted, it would be even more difficult to tell. In short a G colour will still face up plenty white to most people, so if you wanted to go for the bigger diamond you could with confidence. If you are having trouble choosing, ask for Brian or Lesley at WF to evaluate each diamond and advise you.

No difference, unless you are very sensitive to color, looking at it from the side or bottom and comparing them together, then maybe you can tell the difference.

So my vote goes to the bigger stone in this case.

I say bigger because the difference between a d and a g is negligible... (unless you are really sensitive to color) Unless $ is a big factor, then the slightly smaller d color stone will be just a s stunning. Really, the visual difference in size once it''s in a setting will be very small, so go with what fits your budget the best. Good luck!

I would rather have the G stone and get bigger.

Definitely go for the G, it''s safe at almost any size, unless one is highly sensitive. And if you really want to maximize size, you might ask about this one. Nice amount of difference in diameter.

I would prefer larger, too, since the cut in comparable.

G is pretty white in my opinion. I vote for the bigger diamond.

First off, I want to say that you made the right decision not to go with the ebay Tiffany ring. I recall a reading a lawsuit being settled between Ebay & Tiffanys as Ebay sells the most Tiff knockoffs. I didn''t remember this until after you had made your decision so I didn''t send you the article but google it and you''ll find it.

I think you should go with the lower colour G unless you or your future FI are very colour sensitive. I thought that I was fairly colour sensitive until I went to look at some stones yesterday and couldn''t tell the difference between an F and an I! You could drop a few colour grades and still get a really great looking diamond at a great price. I''d definately go for the larger diamond.

Ditto Ellen - if the G SI2 is eyeclean then I w

WOW! Ellen''s find is amazingly clean on the IS ans ASET... If eye-clean I would go for that too...

No worries, contact WF and ask them to evaluate the diamond for you concerning ''eyecleanliness.''
