Hey all,
I would love some assistance from anyone who has had a good experience or has an ongoing relationship with a bench jeweller in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

The background is: I am currently having a coloured gem cut by a vendor in that city, which will then need setting into a mount I will purchase elsewhere.
I am doing all of this via email from my home, Australia, and to be honest decent jewellers are seriously lacking in my city (seriously..

).

The main thing is they need a fairly skilled bench - experience with coloured stones a plus! There will be some prong work and pave involved, but nothing too intense..
Its not an overly difficult task, but as I'm not in the US I don't know where to turn..

I will be happy to pay a reasonable fee for good service, and the gem cutter I am in touch with is also keen to estabish some more professional r'ships in his city for this sort of thing..

Geez, I'm sure I could've said all that in 2 lines - sorry about the ramble, its late here, lol

I would love to hear if anyone has experience or can give me a referral!

many thanks in advance
AJ.

Good lordy girl! Have you even got any finger real estate left?! You fiance must be one understanding bloke, letting you get all this bling

But, I can''t complain.... I get to drool over your pics hey?

I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday, and I have spent the last week trying to convince DF that other PSers get pressies from Tiff''s when they have surgery. He doesn''t quite seem to agree with my line of thought on that one.

I know! I just checked in the mirror again and I have discovered the beginnings of two black eyes!! WTH!! Maybe I was an unco-operative patient while under the GA and they thumped me around a bit. Oh well, I can make myself feel better with another milkshake (so much for Week 1 of WDD- wedding dress diet)

It''s funny, I have never been one for a RHR, but now I am starting to think about a nice band for my right hand. Maybe a sapphire band? Rubies? I have no idea how to go about this though (not to mention convincing DF with all the wedding to pay for). Maybe I should check out the other threads around here on colour gems...........

Yes you should!
there's so many different options, its alot of fun and (usually) chaeper than our diamond addiction!

Disclaimer, I have not purchased from this ebay seller, but for the price I have been giving their little eternity bands some thought - they alsp have a return policy if its no good...

sapphire and diamond bands:

(perhaps the sapphires not to nice in this one, but for $250...)
