Hi all, I could use some of your wonderful helpful input again. I purchased another baguette band to try with my round solitaire. This time vertical baguettes, and a slimmer / daintier ring, it’s from Ferko’s on Etsy and it’s lovely.
I think this one is too dainty paired with my solitaire. They look like they work better together in photos than they actually do in person. The band is about 2.7mm (though the description advertised 3mm) with 2.25mm long stones. Very very low profile / feels flat against my finger, and very lightweight. I’m going to inquire about a custom one that’s a little more substantial / at least higher off the finger, and probably slightly larger baguettes, like 2.5mm long ?
What do you suggest would help make it work better with my knife edge solitaire? I do like the thin metal walls on the channel setting. Many of preloved larger rings I saw had a lot of metal or too high of a profile or both. If it helps - my solitaire shoulders are 2.7mm, rise I think 2.2 under the prongs.
Thank you!

For anyone wondering who remembers my last post - yes, I had decided to go with a custom bag/round eternity, but I’m having second thoughts mostly due to the cost and also concerns about getting it right… so I started shopping eBay and Etsy etc for lower priced vertical baguette bands, since I love that style as well : ) And I would love to have a few different bands for mixing things up!
