So I have done my research on my diamond and feel confident in my selection now it is time for the setting. I am looking at a Martin Flyer that I have quoted by a B&M for $1150. Curious I know the best deals for diamonds are online but what about the setting. Will I find a better price online or am I fine going with the B&M? That price does not include the wedding band. Any suggestions on other rings please offer, basically I am looking for a thin band, with pave side stones and a four prong setting. I am most likely getting the diamond from GOG. Thanks for the help.

If you have the stone set at GOG (assuming you purchase the stone at GOG) it will be covered in the unlikely rare event that it is damaged during setting. If you take it to another B&M or jeweller they will not insure that stone for loss or damage.

I would recommend you have GOG source you a setting and have them set the stone, that way if something happens to the stone then GOG will cover it.

GOG has lots of settings, I am sure they have something you like. If not, they can quote you to make something similar to the setting you posted.
