So I've run into a couple of problems today. First, the setting that I want to get for my girlfriend is being discontinued so I need to order soon. With the help of some people here, I picked out a diamond and was planning on calling Blue Nile tomorrow to order it. I checked on the diamond tonight and someone purchased it since I last looked at it this afternoon! Now I have to find another diamond and quickkly so that they don't run out of the setting too. I could really use some quick hlep picking out a new stone.

For reference, this is the stone that I had chosen - http://www.bluenile.com/round-diamond-1-carat-or-less-ideal-cut-h-color-vvs2-clarity_LD02384842

This is what I've found so far tonignt.

This one might have been a perfect replacement but they paired the stone with the wrong AGS report. I'll try contacting them tomorrow but I'm not sure how quick they can fix this.

At this point, I just gave up on AGS certified stones and waded into the giant pool of GIA stones

HCA 1.6 and within the AGS 0 box on the HCA graph.

This might be one of my favorites of the GIA stones so far. The HCA is 0.9 and very close to the AGS 0 box. It's also a little bigger for its weight than the one I had originally picked.

HCA 0.9, AGS 0 area, and few inclusions. Looking back at all of these, I think i'm leaning toward this one.

Please let me know what you think. I'd really like to order this tomorrow so I don't also lose out on the setting. Thank you so much for all of your help!

This isn't a purchase you want to hurry.... So relax, you'll find the perfect stone.

Have you looked on Whiteflash, Good Old Gold, and Brian Gavin as well?

Agree with Carbonlover, there will be others and she gave you good places to shop.

Are you in a hurry to propose? I ask because if not, I'd check out Greenlake Jewelry for settings, and this way, you have many more diamond options. They specialize in those intricate kinds of designs just like your girlfriend loves, and though it may take more time (since they do custom work) and a bit more money, you'd be getting something really unique.
