I am still debating between a 5 stone and a pear solitaire with diamond shoulders.

I have found these stones on James Allen. I am looking for a stone in the region of 0.5ct. Not sure if the IF clarify is a bit overkill on a smaller diamond?

Anyway, numbers and pictures looks good to me (not too big a bow tie IMO), but would appreciate some PS opinions!

Thanks

Yes an if on anything is overkill to me.
Also, though I agree staying g or above is best for a pear, you do t have to have a d either .

Those specs I general seems super overkill to me. I'd get an E-f si1-si2. This type of cut can handle low clarity well

thanks, totally newbie on this so not at all sure as I had read that pears tend to show colour, and I do like quite a bright white. I did start thinking that IF would be overkill on clarity.

Will keep looking!
