Help! Overwhelmed with choices!

Hi all,

I'm looking to take the plunge and pick up an engagement ring but I'm a bit lost when it comes to picking out the exact diamond. I've done some research and decided on a princess Cut, around 1ct in the 4-5k range. If I can go bigger that'd be great. Research has pointed me to going with the best cut I can afford with some leeway when it comes to color and clarity, just as long as it's eye clean. I've found plenty at Bluenile, James Allen, and whiteflash but outside of the specs mentioned i don't know what I should be looking for.. Any guidance or examples of diamonds that fit my needs would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

That first one should be a really nice stones. Its an ACA with ideal light return....cant go wrong. Just make sure
it is eye-clean. The price is really nice on that one too.

The second stone is a virtual stone and would have to be called it.

Yes, the first one looks great! Stick with in-house stones and not virtual stones.

Great choice! The only question you need to ask is whether it is eyeclean from the top and sides (depending on how it is set). Most people don't want to see inclusions from the side if the sides are visible in the setting.

Spoke to them yesterday and the stone is eye clean from the top and sides and the only inclusions are clear. Placed the order last night. Thanks for the help and wish me luck!
