Help on inclusions in this diamond

Hi all,

I've just bought this VVS1 diamond. According to the GIA report, the inclusions are pinpoint and surface graining.

I read that the inclusions in a VVS1 is so insignificant and it would not affect the performance of the diamond.

However, i cant help but wonder where the inclusions are.

Would any experts here be able to help me locate it?

Hello piranafish,

I can almost guarantee you that no expert in this forum would be able to locate the VVS1 inclusion in the image. You're spot on, VVS1 inclusions are so insignificant that they are extremely difficult to locate, even for experts viewing live and with magnification.

The best way to locate it would be with a grading report that has a diamond plot. If the GIA report doesn't have a plot and you absolutely want to know, I'd recommend taking the stone to a professional with a microscope that identify it.
