Trying to choose a round cut diamond online and need to get one soon - I've been spending hours online the last three weeks looking into diamonds and reading this amazing forum. I think I have found one (after a lot of reading on this site and others) but want some input on the cut. Clarity is VSS1 (I know I could get an eye clean SI for a lot less but like this) and Colour is H (which is what I wanted due to the colour of side diamonds on the setting I have).
I have no pictures but price is a lot better than alternatives on sites with pictures.

Carat is 1.59
Depth 61.5%
Table 56%
Crown 34.5%
Pav 40.8%
Girdle Medium (faceted) 3.5%
Star 50%
Lower Girdle 80% (GIA report so I know this is rounded to nearest 5%)

I think the proportions all point towards this being a good heart and arrows diamond (subject to the Lower girdle not being over 80%). It is listed as a H&A diamond. Would be great to get a second opinion before I pay the import VAT and fork out for the thing to check I've not missed anything and also if anyone has any tips on what I should be doing/looking for when the diamond arrives to see if it is a keeper?

It has very good numbers. They all should work well together. However, angles/numbers don't indicate H&A.

Thanks. It is listed as H&A. Could it still be a "bad"/"Phoney" H&A despite having good numbers? I'll look at it with a H&A viewer when it arrives.

Ah, well someone thought it was good enough to be an H&A.

H&A has to do more with how tightly the angles are cut and how precisely they meet to form the hearts.

Viewing with an H&A viewer should give you the answer. I think it is true that cutters are more likely to spend
more time to cut an H&A when the stone has good angles vs. bad angles.

Is this a branded stone?

No it isn't a branded stone - going the cheaper route!
