HELP NEEDED

Hello Everyone,

I posted a question earlier for everyone in this forum and no one other than "Sortmon" has responded to me. Sortmon has given great insight and was very helpful.

But its always nice to hear information and be educated about what we buy, so I would really appreciate if other experts in this field and form can respond too.

The 3 diamonds i have narrowed down are

The first diamond is Birks
Second diamind is Canadian

Please let me know which one would you pick and why and which you will not pick and why?

I have also requested for a idealscope and will post that once i receive it.

Hello All,

I just got done with a phone consultation with the JA gemologist.

She said based on light performance both inside and when kept near a window the one below was the best. This also had more sparkle and was larger compared to others. For leakage all three were pretty close and was hard to differenciate. And 87382 has the best G color of all three.

I will post the ideascope once i get them. All comments and critiques are welcome Please respond as i need to make a decision soon.

Pending the Idealscopes, I think you have a winner in the one JA suggested. It is tied for smallest table as another stone but it isn't as deep which means it faces up larger. If it's the whitest G, then that's also a bonus. I also really like the fluorescence effect.

I honestly like the last idealscope the best! The middle one has too much leakage so I'd get rid of that one...but the other two are fine. For me, I'd choose whichever one is more affordable.

Ditto. 3 and 1 both look good - I'd go with the Birks one that faces up the biggest (that's the one the gemologist recommended). The middle one has less pink in the middle which is not as good.
