Looking to buy an engagement ring and am considering a center diamond with the following specs:

1.51 carat round brilliant
H color
VS2 clarity
Ideal Cut with the following proportions: 56% Table, 60.5% depth, 34.1 degree crown angle, 40.6 degree pavillion angle, pointed culet. Also has Ideal polish and symmetry. Think its scores a 0.5 on the HCA based on these metrics though I can''t guarantee I did it right.
Measures 7.42 x 7.46 x 4.5 mm
All specs certified by AGS.

Asking price is $13,930 for just the diamond, excluding taxes.

Does this sound reasonable? I''m pretty new at this and have been trying to get up to speed on diamonds. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The stone sounds nice, but the price might be just a little high. I can''t find a stone exactly the same to compare it with, but here is a 1.52 H SI1 at $11,600:

Price sounds reasonable.
