Hi

I am a little new to all this but was after my research for my c£6,000 / $9,000 budget this seems to tick all the boxes for an engagement ring, can you experts let me know if it all looks ok spec wise? Am I missing anything? Things like table / measuremens etc I am not too sure about:

Many thanks

I would suggest buying a princess cut where you can see the images online.

This one is pretty: http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/princess-cut-loose-diamond-2568957.htm

Someone may correct me if I'm wrong, but unlike MRB diamonds, you need to see princess cuts to evaluate the performance.

Also I just ran a HCA calc check and it only came up very good, is this an issue?

Fail.

HCA is only for round diamonds.

the OP linked a round diamond?

what are your priorities wrt color/clarity/carat? are you looking at BN only or open to other vendors? some other vendors provide more information (images, etc) that can be useful in deciding on which diamond to purchase.

Hi

yes it is a round diamond and I am open to other vendors but BN just seemed the best value to ship to the UK? (we pay an extra 17% above the US due to our VAT!)

My priorities really are just a nice size and sparkle without any visible issues

I have seen a 1.2 F on there which scores excellent on HCA but only has very good polish:

Would this be a better option?
