Hi Everyone,

I''m in the middle of deciding which diamond to choose for my lovely girl. I have been given these 3 quotes which meet my requirements and my price range. Now the tough part is to decide on which one to choose from.
What are people opinions about these 3 diamonds? Pros and cons?
Thanks

Can you request photos or ASETS from your vendor?

thanks for the replies!

I have asked the vendor for pics and ideal scope photo. So will post up as soon as I get them

I was really liking the 1.34 VS2 diamond.
I was wondering why you liked the 1.31 VS1... is this because its clarity is slightly higher?

At that point clarity really shouldn't matter much. Especially if the vendor can confirm that the VS2 is eyeclean (which almost all VS2's are).

Preferred the 1.34c stone too, slightly cheaper and better spread. But all this is marginal for that size and $$. Hopefully can judge better with a IS.

great!

what do you all think about the pricing? Noting this is from a actual store not online.
Would it be possible to find a diamond which is 1.5ct but slighly lower in specs around this price? Or am I dreaming?

This is actually quite good price for B&M, I have trouble finding H&A stones online for the same price and stats. I am guessing a lot of stores have liquidity issues now.
Online, there is a GOG stone, 1.54ct H SI1 at $12379 wire price.

You can get a bigger rock if you go down to an H in color, I like the one the PP found at GOG. Personally, I would get the 1.5 H SI1 (assuming eye clean), because an ideal cut H will not show a hint of colour and it is BIG!! Almost half a mm bigger in diameter! Unless your or your FI are colour-fanatics (to each their own), then it isn''t worth the $$ to go up to E/F range, IMHO.

I did a HCA score on the 1.34 diamond and it came up with 1.5. Which is meant to be really good...

I''m not sure if I would want to go down an'' H'' in colour, I think I will stick to quality rather than quantity in this matter.. haha. To me, when the diamond is big and your going down to an SI range, inclusions will be easier to see?

I compared some stones at a store and with ''H'' I could defintaly tell the difference in colour to a ''E'' stone with similar specs.

Opinions are great! looks like the 1.34 is the one I need to look further into :).
