help needed for second hand tiffany / cartier

Im just new to this forum so sorry if Im asking repetative question.

I am from ireland and am shopping for a 1ct + diamond solitate in NY in early Jan 2008. I am interested in looking in Signed Pieces which seems to have very good reviews on this site. Dialadiamond / empire diamonds also seems to sell estate or second hand rings. Would you recommend this seller? Also is there any other similar sellers I could check out?

Also if I purchase can I get Tiffanys / cartier / harry winston to resize for me. What is the usual cost and timeframe for something like this as I am only in town for 2 days?

there have been a few pricescopers here who have purchased Tiffany rings from Signedpieces and have been able take them to Tiffany''s for sizing. I''m not sure about cartier or harry winston. As for the time, it''s best to call tiffany''s and see if you are planning on having it sized there. signedpieces may be able to do it for you faster.
