Hi All,
I need a little help and information as to what is the most important aspect to look for when buying small diamonds. I am planning to buy a set of 15 diamonds of 0.25 carat each for a future project. I am buying it without physically looking at the diamonds. What are all the questions that I should ask? The vendor is giving me GIA certified, triple ex, laser inscribed diamond.
Thanks for all your help in advance

Re: what to look at when you are buying 25 cent diamond onli

You need copies of the GIA certs to make sure they are well cut stones.

You need to know that they are eye-clean (whats the clarity)?

You can run them through the HCA tool for an initial check. Anything scoring 2 or under is worth a further look.
Is this for a ring?

You might want to Edit your title if you still can (it wont let you after a while).

They are for a bangle like the one sold by whiteflash. The stones are F/G, VS1 clarity.

They will be clean, just need to make sure they are well cut.

Thank you for your help.
Can't edit the topic now !!

If it were me, along with running the HCA (and for modern round brilliants I also like to run the AGA Cut Class tool https://www.pricescope.com/tools/AGA_NAJA_Cut_Class_Grader as I prefer 1A stones), I'd make sure the table/depth numbers remain fairly consistent - of course, this may not matter to you.

That is a good point marymm.Thank you !! Will try and make sure that the table and depth are within reasonable limits and one not much different from the others.
