Help - Need to pick one of these two Cushions this week!

I''ve been looking for a 2c cushion cut for quite a while now. I''ve seen about 40-50 different stones in the F VS1/VS2 range and have it narrowed down to the final 2. I haven''t been able to pick between the 2. They are both great and somehow priced almost the same despite one of them being a VS1. I''m not sure if that means I''m getting a better deal on the VS1 or I''m just missing something. I know there are no ideal cuts for cushions, and without pictures its hard to tell, but I have been looking in person; cushions are too hard to pick online. One is a cushion brilliant, the other is a modified, but both look great to me. Here are the details, any thoughts/insights/suggestions on what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It certainly sounds as if you have done your homework! What I would suggest is see if you can view each diamond away from the store lights, this will give you a better idea of which appeals to you most. Also you could order an ASET scopehere, they are straightforward to use and to interpret the images,here is a tutorial which explains ASET's use and how to judge the images. Apart from that, once you have narrowed down and looked at many others, which you have, your own tastes and preferences come into play. On the second diamond, check that the very thick part of the girdle is only covering a small area or areas - an experienced vendor or appraiser will be able to advise.
