HELP! Need advice on Leon Mege setting

Hi All-

I''ve been lurking on the forums for a bit and am now coming to you all for some much needed advice! My FF and I have decided to go with Leon and are in the process of locating a stone...old mine brilliant cushion cut, 1.3 - 1.5 carat, similar to Boston_Jeff''s, more rectangular than square.

Now that I''ve narrowed down the cut, I desperately need some help with a setting. I love the look of the Classic Solitaire...I tend to like simple, clean, elegant lines...but am concerned about coverage as my ring size is a 7.5 and looking for something with a little more flair. I am not a huge micropave fan so am thinking about a three or five stone. What do you think of a cushion cut stone in one of these settings?


Option 1: I love this but not sure how it would look with a smaller stone and cushion cut.

Option 2: I like the half moons, but not sure about the bullets?

Thoughts? I''d also love to hear any other ideas/suggestions you all might have or if you have a similar setting, I''d love to see pictures!

Ooooh, they are all fabulous!! Any of these would no doubt compliment your cushion! "IF" I have to vote, I would go for option 2, love the halfmoons on each side!!

I personally like option 2 for a cushion. I think the squarish sidestones in the other rings look best with princess, radiant, or ec shapes rather than a more rounded shape like a cushion. If you don''t like the bullets, why not ask leon about alternatives?

I agree with the others. I would totally go for the 3 stone. Set your cushion with just half moons. Love that look.

Or just skip the last stones and call it a day. *says the minimalist*

The half moons were my first thought, but I was worried that the center stone would get lost. Hmmmm....while I was initially thinking of a thin band without micropave, maybe pave would anchor the stones?

Cushions and half moons are match made in heaven with double claws it is my 100% all time fave combo
