Help me with this setting for 2.39

Okay, so we purchased a 2.39ct J SI1 from Whiteflash and I''m wondering if you can help me out with some setting issues. We''re trying to find a solitaire setting that has the following:
1) about 2-2.3mm wide
2) the buttercup/tiffany head but set higher than the WF knife edge tiffany setting
3) basically looks like JCrow''s, but set slightly higher
4) can sit next to a shared prong band without being scratched!!!!
5) I''m not crazy about knife edge, so either a softer look or something similar to the Lockes shank

So my question is do you think WF has done something like this? Does anyone have pictures that are similar? Will it be considered a custom piece if they use their tiffany head with another type of setting? How much extra is custom? We''re trying to stay below $900...

If JCrow is out there...what head and setting did you use for yours?

isabel, i''d suggest just calling whiteflash with your questions. they will be the ones to best answer them. they also know who the pricescopers are so if you say you want something like Jcrow''s they will know which ring your are talking about.

I agree with the above; I bet they can figure out which ring she has. Sounds like you are going to have a beautiful setting!

First let me say I absolutely love the solitaire you''ve described. I had a lot of the exact same desires! I first asked WF to do a ring like JCrow''s, I LOVE her setting so much, but it was going to be a custom job and I can''t remember exactly how much but it was going to be more expensive than the WF Classic Tiffany Knife Edge (which I ended up going with). Maybe if you had a custom job done in WG it might be possible for around $1k though? I don''t know but I''m going to be following your journey because I can''t wait to see the final product!
