Help me with a DBTY necklace!

I'm giving DH some ideas for future gifts, and I have no idea where to steer him for a DBTY necklace! I know Whiteflash has them, but where else should we look? Where have you all gotten yours (if you have one)?

Post pics if you can, DH wants some good references!

Lots of DBTY projects going on here at the moment, so you've come to the right place! Orbaya has just had a gorgeous DBTY done by Whiteflash, and mine is a WF sapphires by the yard. I know you want diamonds, but I posted some close-ups and you can see the workmanship on the bezels.

I've also just bought a rose gold DBTY from Brian Gavin Diamonds. I've posted the glamour shots, but tomorrow I'll post neck shots.

I haven't seen WF's diamonds, but I can tell you that I'm extremely pleased with the Brian Gavin diamonds in my DBTY necklace. I have some DBTY stuff from Tiffany and DeBeers and the BGD dimonds definitely hold their own, for significantly less money. I would highly recommend BGD for a dimonds-by-the-yard. I only say that because I haven't seen WF's diamond melee myself, although it's supposed to be the same as Brian's (Brian worked there before setting up BGD, I think, and the diamonds used at both companies for DBTY are meant to be the same quality because they are both Brian's cut, I believe.)

As Smith said, I just had a DBTY custom created by Whiteflash, and I absolutely could not be any happier!! I LOVE this, and I have worked with WF over the years on various projects and have ALWAYS been pleased with their customer service and the quality of the jewelry! You would not regret going with WF for a DBTY!!

The 5-stone ring in my avatar was custom made by Whiteflash, which was inspired by another PS'ers ring about 4 years ago before it became one of their stock settings

I had my DBTY necklace made by WF and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I also wouldn't hesitate to use BGD, where I got my e-ring diamond & first setting. Both do beautiful work!

Here are a couple photos of my DBTY, which has (11) 12 pt. stones, evenly spaced, and the necklace is in platinum & 18" long.

To the OP: I just had an observation that I wanted to share about the Whiteflash bezels and the Brian Gavin Diamonds bezels. I recently bought a WF sapphires-by-the yard in white gold and a BGD diamonds-by-the-yard in rose gold. The stones are not that dissimilar in size: the sapphires are 0.13 each and the diamonds are 0.10 each. Anyway, the WF bezels are thicker and more "donut-shaped", whereas the BGD bezels are thinner and much finer. A thicker bezel can be great for maximizing stone size when it comes to dimonds. On the other had, you might personally prefer the "finer" look of the thin BGD bezels. Just an observation that I thought might be helpful to you! You've probably seen my threads on both necklaces in here in SMTB. There are some shots of both necklaces worn together, and some close-ups.
