This is for an EGL rated SI1 1.5Ct Princess Cut Diamond.

Can somebody tell me if the imperfections on the edges when looking at the bottom view are to be concerned with? Does this mean there will be 'chips' or 'nicks' on the girdle?

Does the way the imperfections are drawn have any idication of their shape and size? (The one closest to the middle looks almost like a Japanese symbol)

What if any comments would you say about the imperfections based on this EGL certificate?

I'm asking this question b/c I may be ordering this very soon online. Thank you.

Here's the rest of the certificate in case anyone is interested.

the feathers look like they extend past the edge on the girdle. i would make double sure they don''t break the surface. a feather that breaks the surface on the long exposed edge of a princess is a hazard waiting to happen.

That is kind of what I was worried about (and perhaps why the stone seems to be priced well).

I should probably just ask them to check it first for me before sending it out right? Surely they wouldn''t mis-inform me knowing that I would just send it back if I am disastisfied, right?

On a side note....

When doing a pricescope search, I noticed diamonds with the exact specs as this one listed from 4 different dealers (and very closely priced). Do they often share the same inventory of diamonds, or are these likely all different stones with the same specs?
