I am hoping the experts here can help me come up with a nice set of earrings for my wife for our anniversary in 1 month.

color should be G or H no lower her wedding ring is a G VS1 in plat. setting with H & A (Amore branded diamond)

Round shape H&A ( I would rather trade better cut for larger size) these are for every day and are a suprise so please don't tell her!!!! ACA from Whitflash is what I was thinking but I could never find a good match. I like the fact that I could trade up down the road if she didn't like what I picked.

The $5,000 budget needs to include the setting etc. so no spending it all on diamonds!!!!

So to recap plat setting H color or better round shape and most of all cut qulaity cut quality cut quality! fell free to enter as many time as you want. Clarity should be Si1 (eye clean or better). Let me know if I have missed information you might need.

on yeah almost forgot just simple studs for setting.

lol on the ''enter as many times as you want''

did you try this search? http://www.pricescope.com/sift.aspx

I assume platinum settings for the earrings? 4 prongs or my favourite 3 prong martinis?

yes plat settings. i didn''t doa sarch here is the thing. I am working around 70 hours a week right now so I can''t I have been trying. I figured instad of trying to pick out a couple second guess myself a hundred times then ask all of you anyway why not just cut to the chase and make it a contest.

i know you said you didn''t want to go lower than ''h'' for color...but... would you consider it if i told you that i have a ''g'' color center stone and ''j'' color earrings and they face up just as white?

Just send the $5k to me, I''ll spend it for you, no problemo!

sorry H is the lowest. Thanks for the offer on spending the $5k! Lets see how this would work happy anniv. hunny here is an empty box i sent $5K to a girl on pricescope. Ahhhhhhhhhhh! No I think not but nice try.

SI 2 sorry no go. I see the polish & sym. were only VG on one as well. Thanks for trying.

Ellen doesn''t the IS look like thee is leakage I never really understood it that well.

herky, there is only leakage where it should be (you want some). These are WF''s branded diamonds, they really don''t get much better.

I found an alternate in case the SI1 is not eyeclean. It''s an H, but do not worry, you won''t be able to tell the difference. I have a set of WF studs that are just slightly bigger than these, one is a G, the other an H, can''t tell.

Either pair would be fine!

If you buy an ACA from Whiteflash, you will not be able to tell the color difference between a G and a H. Diamonds are color graded facing downward, but they will face up a beautiful white. Trust me. You cannot go wrong with ACA.

Good Luck

Does anyone know if Whiteflash has an inventory of ACA diamonds not listed on their site? I sometimes see the IS images of their expert selection and they look as good or better than the some of the ACA. Anyone know why that is besides the obvious that I don''t know exactly what I am looking for. Also anyone know if you buy the setting and diamind for them what other costs their is such as setting shipping ins. etc. Also does anyone have an idea on how long it takes to get the finished product from order time? Thanks for all those who have helped so far.

They may have some stones that have come in but haven't had all the work/info done on them yet. (so they aren't up yet)

The reason a stone doesn't make ACA brand is usually one none of us could see with the naked eye. Brian is just very particular about what gets that name. They are a great buy.

There is no setting/shipping fee. However, if you returned it for some reason you would pay shipping.

How long it takes to ship depends on what type of setting you order. If it's stock, it could be out in a day or two. If it's custom, could be a few weeks, again, it would depend a bit I think.
