Help me select cushion

This is my second post - the first one is about setting and this one is about the stone....

I contacted via email LM, GOG and ERD. I heard back from Perry from LM rightaway..waiting to hear back from others.....Meanwhile Perry sent me these two antique cut cushions for consideration...There are no ASET's but AGS report and a video. I need help from the experts here to help me figure out if any of them is good.....

1) 1.24 I/Vs2-$6,500
2) 1.67 J VS1-$8,500

what kind of setting are you getting? are you looking for an antique style cushion? these both look pretty nice, you can search other threads for cushions sourced by LM.

I prefer the J but it's a big price difference.

I am thinking about LM's halo...

I have been wondering about the price of setting to the cost of the diamond ratio...The lady at David Yurman's at the mall used to work at Tiffany's before that she said to me, " I would tell this to my children..get the highest quality and biggest size diamond you can get and don't spend too much on the setting"....

Why may I ask do you prefer the J one? I am trying to learn how to distinguish from the video..

..I asked Percy whether the J is yellow ...He said in his opinion it is J- ....
