I was hoping to have more time, but recently I got a very good opportunity that is going to require a lot of my time in the near future and I would like to propose to my girlfriend relatively soon. I was reading this forum during my research and was very impressed at the knowledgeable and thoughtful responses from members so I figured this would be a good place to ask for help in the search for the perfect diamond.
With that said this is what I’m looking for a at least 1 ct round cut diamond , gold band, 6 prong and I am open to suggestions on the rest, but I was thinking around D for the color, and VS1 or better. My budget is between $8K and $11K total and I am open to suggestions! After researching (especially this forum) I would ask that the suggestions come from bluenile, whiteflash, or jamesallen as they seem the best place on-line and I can hopefully avoid sales tax! I would consider a trip into Boston if anyone has suggestions there but I have already been to a few jewelry stores in the past.
Please ask any questions and I will try and respond. I did my own searching and I get 50~70 diamonds at each site and I am having a hard time narrowing it down! Since everyone is so helpful I figured that if I end up buying the diamond you recommend I’ll offer you $25 to say thank you (we can work out the details later i.e. cash/gift card etc).
