I'm finally ready to take the plunge and I'm looking for roughly 4.5-5.5 emerald. After speaking to someone at Ritani, I narrowed it down to these two stones:

Firstly, what are your thoughts? I know a bit but no where near as much as all of you! I'm also open to any other stones that you might suggest.
Secondly, part of what has been so hard for me to commit to a stone is that I feel like I'm just not knowledgeable enough. Should I go with a place like Ritani? I know people love Distinctive Gem. How much more am I going to pay for a stone from someone like that vs. finding one on a site like Ritani and is it worth it?
