Help me narrow it down to one setting please!

The bf and I went to look at settings last night and narrowed it down to 2 looks- A ritani with diamonds on the mounting, which would have set off the sapphire center stone we picked out . . . and our final choice of style, a memoire shared prong setting with 6 RB totally .43 cts. Here are my final picks for that look- all are in platinum:

The original Memoire setting (.43Ct, 6 stones- $3100 at Bailey Banks Biddle- waiting to hear how much Pearlmans and Mulloys has it for):

Similar setting at Whiteflash (.28Ct- 8 stones- $1395- I love the legato setting, but i like the larger size of diamonds in the memoire)

A few questions:

Can anyone spot the differences between the first 2 Facets settings other than the .42 vs .45 TCW? I feel like I''m playing that circle the differences game and failing.

Does whiteflash offer any discounts for just the setting? I''m providing the stone. Same for any of the other retailers I''m looking at.

Why do you think the last Facets is so cheap?! I realize it''s totally different from what I''d decided on, but I put it in the running because it''s just such a great deal. Do you think it might be uncomfortable?

Whiteflash uses ACA diamonds- would it make a difference in the setting? The facets ones use VS-VVS ones, but are the cuts as good?

WF''s ACA stones are beautiful and sparkle non-stop. They can make that ring with any size stones you want. You would send them your stone and they''d set it in the setting.

What size is your center stone? Sometimes that can determine what looks best on the band.

My center stone is a 4.79 ct sapphire, but it''s 9.5 mm so the table''s more like a 3.3 ct diamonds. I wanted nice white diamonds in the setting to set off the blue and the 7 pointers in the memoire looked pretty darn good. I''m a little nervous about going down to 3.5 pointers, but I will call whiteflash to see how much more going up to 5-6 would be. Does whiteflash charge more for special orders?

Which ritani setting were you interested in? I tend to like delicate settings, so I''d probably be more inclined to go with a ritani. However, all of the choices are lovely and I love the WF head on the legato setting.
